South Tech is named after where we're from: the South of Africa. Specifically, Choma, in Zambia's Southern Province. The name is simple on purpose — it tells you where we are before it tells you what we do.
We started by building websites for shops, lodges and farms around Choma. The brief was always the same: a real online presence, paid for in Kwacha, supported by people you can actually call. That's still what we do — only now we ship apps, register domains, run social channels and design brands too.
African tech is too often pitched from somewhere else. We wanted a company that was unmistakeably from here, building for here first — and then for the rest of the world.
Today South Tech serves clients across all ten provinces of Zambia and beyond — but the headquarters is still in Choma, and that's not changing.
